I have had a love for body piercing and fine jewelry since I was fairly young; my love for piercing largely grew out of time spent flipping through National Geographic magazines and browsing images in online body modification communities throughout my childhood and adolescence, and my love for jewelry was passed to me by my grandmother. When I moved to Pittsburgh to attend college in 2013, I found a wealth of tattoo and piercing studios, which I promptly started frequenting. As I spent more time as a client, I found myself becoming more enamored with body piercing, and I decided to reconsider my career path and seek out a future in piercing.
I began piercing in 2016 and have worked under some of the most respected piercers in the Pittsburgh area. In addition to working with other piercers, I have attended several classes and seminars in an effort to continue my education and offer the best possible service to my clients. In 2020, I attended the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and earned my diploma as an Applied Jewelry Professional, allowing me to provide my clients with even more knowledge and expertise when it comes to fine jewelry and choosing the right piece. In early 2021, I decided I wanted to bring what I have to offer to Mt. Holly Springs, the area where I grew up, and I’ve been working diligently on building Golden Laurel Piercing & Fine Jewelry ever since.

With my education and training, both in piercing and jewelry, I am able to specialize in jewelry styling, curated and long-term projects, and custom jewelry design. I am certified in Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid, and CPR, and I maintain member status with the Association of Professional Piercers (APP).
